Mr. Durnian has been a consultant in ophthalmology since 2010, working at the St. Paul’s Eye Unit in Liverpool. For most of that time, he was the lead clinician for strabismus and neuro-ophthalmology as well as being the Training Programme Director for Ophthalmology for the Mersey region.
Mr. Durnian has vast experience dealing with all aspects of general ophthalmology as well as neuro ophthalmology and strabismus.
Mr. Durnian is the author of over 30 research papers covering all aspects of ophthalmology.
Mr. Durnian has carried out medicolegal work since 2013 and has been awarded the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate. He produces on average 100-130 reports a year with the claimant:defendant:joint work ratio of approximately 35:55:10.
